Track announcer Eddie Campbell interviewed several drivers and fans and also had a chat with Roger Brewer, a KVRA competitor who was sidelined early this season because of an off-track accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down.

Brewer, 54, of Tuscumbia, Ala., is a veteran driver who hopes to make a return to vintage racing in a car equipped with hand controls.

On Wednesday, July 29, Brewer and two other Alabama drivers, Larry Bailey and Tom Richardson, were featured on Race Week, a weekly program hosted by Campbell and Justin Swallows on Clarksville radio station WJZM, to promote Saturday night's event.
