MURRAY, Ky. -- KVRA technical inspector and part-time driver Ed Adams is home recovering from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident July 27.

Adams, a veteran engine builder and machinist, wrecked when a dog ran out in front of his Harley-Davidson on a rural road in northern Graves County. He was taken to Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky., and was released Wednesday.

Adams sustained injuries to his shoulder and ankle. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt and had superficial injuries to his arms. He was wearing a helmet.

"Ed sounds pretty good, but he's been banged up," KVRA president Mark Moore said. "We'll be glad to have him back when he's fully recovered."
