He took command from his brother, Mark, who led the first three laps from the pole but slipped to third place at the finish. Rookie James Scott took the runner-up spot, with Jason Bailey and Steve Alexander rounding out the top five.
The winner drove the No. 40, a red 1940 Chevrolet coupe, owned by his brother. It was the third victory of the season for the car, which is usually driven by Chad Fritsche.
Bailey, who won his first KVRA feature in the series' visit here May 30, was part of a tightly contested fight for the top four spots until he spun coming off Turn 2 of the ninth lap.
It was the second career victory for Moore, who drove the No. 40 car to second place in the May 30 race won by Bailey.
