PADUCAH, Ky. - Dave Davidson led from start to finish to win his eighth feature of the season Friday night at Paducah International Raceway.
It was the eighth victory of the season for the Henderson, Ky., driver and his quick No. 16, a 1933 Plymouth sedan-bodied racecar. Davidson has captured five of his victories at the 3/8-mile high-banked Paducah oval.
Rex Rutter won a last-lap battle to edge Mark Moore for second place.
Chad Fritsche, who won last week's feature to snap a two-race streak by Davidson, finished fourth and Richard Hall rounded out the top five.
Mark Davis of Mayfield, Ky., drove the No. 61 in place of car owner Pat Halvorson for the second week in a row and scored his first KVRA victory in the first heat. Davidson won the other heat.
