It was Davidson's second straight feature win, which means he will have to start at the rear of the field in his next KVRA feature event.
Davidson started on the pole in his No. 16 1933
Neal Ford rounded out the top five.
Two false starts occurred, with Kenny Brannon spinning in Turn 1 on the first green flag and a tangle involving Dennis English and Chad Fritsche on the backstretch bringing out the second yellow flag.
Once the race got under way, it went caution-free to the end.
Two preliminary heats provided dramatic finishes. James Scott overtook Brannon on the next-to-last lap to win the first heat and Davidson passed Throgmorton coming off the final turn to take the second heat.
