PADUCAH, Ky. - Dave Davidson's hot streak continues, as the Henderson, Ky., driver moved past Mark Moore at the midway point and went on to victory in the 12-lap Kentucky Vintage Racing Association feature at Paducah International Raceway Friday night.
It was the sixth victory of the season for Davidson and his No. 16 1933 Plymouth sedan.
Moore was second, followed by Josh Throgmorton, Brian Steele and Chad Fritsche.
Moore started on the pole and took the lead at the outset. But Davidson pulled alongside on the outside coming off Turn 4 of the fifth lap and edged ahead. Once he cleared Moore's No. 33 1933 Chevy coupe, he held command.
The battle for the runner-up spot was a spirited one, with Throgmorton and Moore swapping the position back and forth over the final three laps.
James Scott took his first KVRA race victory in winning the first heat. Moore won the second heat.
