Clarksville replaces Clayhill on this weekend's lineup

MURRAY, Ky. - The Kentucky Vintage Racing Association will return to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway this Saturday night.

KVRA president and founder Mark Moore said five races tentatively scheduled at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tenn., including one provisionally slated for this Saturday, have been temporarily removed from the schedule.

Moore met with Clayhill promoter Dale Nelson Monday to try to confirm dates, and said some races may eventually be scheduled at the 3/8-mile track.

With the past weekend's Friday-Saturday twin bill having been rained out at Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway and the removal of the tentative Clayhill events, the KVRA schedule now shows 31 races.

KVRA returns to Camden (Tenn.) Motor Speedway Friday night for its next outing. This weekend's card is the first of three Friday-Saturday doubleheaders scheduled on the next four weekends, with no races slated for the Memorial Day weekend May 22-25.
