Paducah race dropped, Clarksville make-up slated this weekend

MURRAY, Ky. - The Kentucky Vintage Racing Association event scheduled Friday at Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway has been deleted from the schedule due to a decision by PIR track management to cancel the night's racing.

On Saturday night, KVRA will return to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway where Saturday night's feature race was rained out. The vintage stocks will run a make-up feature at the beginning of the program, and then join in as part of the ΒΌ-mile track's regular offering.

The changes will result in a gain of one race at Clarksville and the loss of one PIR event, with no change in the number of races on the schedule. A series-record 37 events have been slated.

KVRA returns to Paducah next weekend for a double-dip, with an appearance in the regular show on Friday, May 1, and a return engagement on Saturday night in a program headlined by the Lucas Oil Series late models.
